Darver Castle Estate Weddings COVID 19 Opening update.

Darver Castle has over 20 years of experience when it comes to hosting your wonderful Wedding Day. The Team here at Darver have always had your best interests at heart for your celebration and never more so than now.

The team at Darver Castle are very aware of the need to look after the health and safety of all of our guests and we are confident that we will offer a well-managed, safe environment for you and your guests on your wedding day.

Darver Castle is located on 50 acres of parkland, fields, gardens and outdoor areas which is ideal for you and your guests to enjoy on your big day. The estate is yours for the day, which means that there are no other guests allowed on the estate on that day apart from you and yours. The estate is exclusively yours for the day in question.

The vast majority of our team are with us many years here at Darver Castle and they are very well trained in providing high-quality care and attention to you and your guests on arrival. You will have a wedding co-ordinator on hand from the moment you arrive until you decide to retire to the Kitchen at the end of your celebrations for Tea, Coffee and some light refreshments.

The Health and Safety of the wedding party and your guests are of the utmost priority given the new obligations following COVID 19. Please be assured that we have recently commenced training all of our staff in the new safety procedures that have been introduced by the Health Service. Everybody from office, kitchen, cleaning, bar, serving, gardening, maintenance, management and owners are all included.

Everybody at Darver Castle will be obliged to go through our daily screening process where information may be gathered regarding health and social contacts.

The staff will be permitted to work only in small groups to reduce any risks and there are certain areas with the estate where only those staff who are responsible for that area will be allowed.

Darver Castle does not cater for overnight accommodation or other celebrations outside of the wedding parties and this enables us to maintain a very high standard of cleaning and sanitising.

All of our wedding suppliers have been working with us here at Darver castle for many years and all will be contacted prior to each wedding to ensure that everyone who enters the estate will comply with the new health and safety procedures now in place.

All guests who attend weddings here at Darver Castle will also be requested to comply with the new procedures which are now in place for all weddings going forward when the estate is reopened.

Darver Castle has recently added new facilities at the venue to comply with new social distancing measures which are now in effect. The team here at Darver Castle are very aware of the continuing need for social distancing and the health and safety of you and your guests.

We do appreciate that we are now in very challenging times due to COVID 19, but we are also very aware that we have been very positive to take whatever actions are necessary to make your big day a fantastic success and one that you will never forget.
